It is a matter of great pleasure and honour for me to serve as the President of the Governing Body, Sri Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute, Nrusinghnath, P. O- Paikmal, Dist- Bargarh Odisha 768039.This Institution is also attached with Kripasindhu Bhoi Ayurveda Chikitshalaya (Hospital).
This College was established in 1981 to provide a world class platform in the education and research of Ayurveda Sciences. Over a period of more than a 4th decade, College has emerged as a leading institution in AYUSH health care system.
The word Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit word, Ayur or “ life” and Veda or “Science” therefore it means “Science of Life”. Ayurveda is the ancient system of medicine which originated in India around 5,000 years ago. It is meant for the well being of humanity.
At present, this College and Hospital is in the position to make key contribution for the service of human society to provide a safe and effective treatment through advance Ayurveda, therapies. The college is preparing the next generation of leaders in AYUSH healthcare system who will carry this path forward in the years ahead.
The college is committed to create an ambience for nurturing innovation, creativity and excellence within its students. We strongly support interdisciplinary research and development for the benefit of Academicians, Clinicians, Researchers as well as for the Society.
We emphasise on developing all round leadership skills. By doing so, we believe the College will continue to create unique and noble programmes to make significant contributions to Ayurveda as a domain. We are confident that all our efforts will grow into significant epitomes of achievements in the larger academic parlance. I hope that our efforts in all the major areas of Ayurveda will produce fruitful results in academic innovation, top-tier journal publications, citations and technology developments.
